Business Trade Global (BTG), together with ICAPIFPO and AHC Groups, was proud to support the ICT Lawyers’ Guild Sri Lanka Annual Conference 2026, held on 1 August 2026 at Cinnamon Life Hotel, Colombo.
Organized by the ICT Lawyers’ Guild Sri Lanka, the conference brought together distinguished professionals, legal experts, technology specialists, business leaders and industry stakeholders to explore the evolving relationship between technology, cybersecurity and the rule of law.
The conference focused on the theme “Cyber Security and the Rule of Law Building Resilient Digital Governance,” highlighting the importance of strengthening digital governance and developing legal frameworks capable of responding to the rapidly changing technological landscape.

Celebrating Leadership and Recognition
The event was also a memorable occasion for the leadership associated with BTG, ICAPIFPO and AHC Groups.
Dr. Sardar Ali, Founder and Chairman of Business Trade Global (BTG) and Founder and Chairman of ICAPIFPO, was honoured with the Best Event Organizer Award, recognizing his contribution to the successful organization and coordination of the event.
The occasion also brought together prominent figures from the international business and professional community, including Mr. Niraj Khinvarasa, Executive Director of World Trade Center Pune, who participated in the event alongside distinguished guests and professionals.
Dr. Nalaka Silva, Founder and Chairman of AHC Groups, was also presented with a special award by Dr. Sunil Abeyrathna, Chairman of the ICT Lawyers’ Guild Sri Lanka, recognizing his contribution and engagement with the professional community.

The conference featured an insightful keynote address by Prof. Ian Walden, Head of IT Law at Queen Mary University of London, further enriching discussions around technology law, cybersecurity and digital governance.
